Meet Rights & Brands at Formex this week
This morning the Formex fair opened its doors at Stockholmässan outside of Stockholm. Rights & Brands are to be found in stand AG:03-AG:11 with the exhibition Sagornas hantverk, Novita Moomin yarn and Marius of Norway.
During the Formex fair, January 17-20, Rights & Brands will participate as a guest exhibitor with ‘Sagornas hantverk’. The exhibition is created in collaboration with the author and knitting expert Celia B Dackenberg, and shows how some of our most beloved authors and illustrators use knitted garments to enhance their characters.
A press meeting was held at the stand this morning together with Lotta Ahlvar, Sofia Torell, niece of Alfie Atkins creator Gunilla Bergström, Vigdis Yran Dale from MARIUS of Norway, and Celia B Dackenberg, the author of the book ‘Sagornas stickbok’ that has been the basis for Rights & Brands’ exhibition ‘Sagornas hantverk’.
In the second part, AG:07 Moomin yarn producer Novita show knitted crafts and will hold workshops for everyone interested in learning the skill of knitting.
The third part of the stand, AG:11 highlights the pattern Marius of Norway’s 70th anniversary and tells the story of how the pattern was created by Unn Søiland in the 1950’s.
Formex is open January 17-20 and Rights & Brands will be in attendance during the whole fair. Come by to discuss licensing oppurtunites, our brands or just to get inspired!
