We are at the 2025 Bologna Children’s Book Fair
This morning, the doors officially opened to the 62nd Bologna Children’s Book Fair in Italy — and Rights & Brands is excited to be present in the Licensing Hall.
The Bologna Children’s Book Fair is an industry-leading event that has succeeded in bringing together a unique and diverse global audience thanks to 61 years of experience. The result is the world’s premium copyright exchange hub when it comes to publishing which also extends to current multimedia and licensing businesses for children’s stories, illustration, animation and related areas.
At the Rights & Brands and Moomin’s vibrant green stand, we are showcasing a variety of literary rights titles and products from beloved brands such as Moomin, Pippi Longstocking, Emil in Lönneberga, Bamse, Maxi & Helium, and many more.
Roleff Kråkström to Speak at International Kids Licensing Days
Tomorrow, April 1st, Roleff Kråkström — CEO of Rights & Brands and Moomin Characters — will speak at the 2025 International Kids Licensing Days (IKLD).
The session will center around Celebrating 80 Years of Moomin — an extraordinary legacy that has been able to renew itself over the years, always keeping highly appealing. From Finland to the rest of the world, the characters created and illustrated by Tove Jansson live on in lifestyle, entertainment, retail activations, concept stores, and much more, making Moomin a well-known and beloved brand worldwide.

Timed with the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, the latest spring issue of Licensing Magazine features the Moomins and Tove Jansson on its cover. Inside, there is a six-page article celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Moomins, along with three pages dedicated to Astrid Lindgren’s Pippi Longstocking.
