Together, they go on mischievous adventures, celebrating their unusual and eternal friendship.

Jujja Wieslander
Jujja Wieslander was born on the 12th of June 1944 in Stockholm. She is a Swedish children’s book author and a member of The Swedish Academy for Children’s Books. She’s best known for her books about Mamma Moo and Crow, illustrated by Sven Nordqvist.
The most important thing for Jujja when creating is the passion for children’s playfulness and language. With the help of her characters, she portrays this joyous way of learning.
Mamma Moo
Celebrates 40 Years!
In 2025, it has been 40 years since the characters Mamma Moo and Crow debuted on SR, Swedish Radio.
The book is celebrated with the launch of a new book called ”Kråkans Kläder” and events such as the Gothenburg Book Fair, contests, activities for pre-schools, and meet and greets throughout the anniversary year.
Mamma Moo will also be part of Lässtegen in 2025, an initiative to encourage storytimes at preschools in Sweden. The goal is to have at least 50 sessions of story-telling with the children, and the preschools that reach the goals are eligible for prizes.
Animated Films
There are 3 films about Mamma Moo and Crow, “Who are you, Mamma Moo?” premiered in 2023, “Mamma Moo Finds Her Way Home” in 2022 and “Mamma Moo and Crow” in 2019.
The films premiered in countries such as Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, Netherlands and Italy and are now available on multiple streaming services.
