Acne Studios SS25 ‘Face’ collection features Moomin
Rooted in a shared Scandinavian heritage, Acne Studios announces a special collaboration with Tove Jansson’s Moomin universe. The collection is a part of the Acne Studios SS25 ‘Face’ collection, designed to capture a mood of youthful expression, colour and play.
Founded in Stockholm, Acne Studios is a fashion house known for its multidisciplinary approach, shaped by founder and Creative Director Jonny Johansson’s passion for photography, art, architecture, and contemporary culture, an alternative path has been found, turning Acne Studios into a well-respected creator of ready-to-wear, magazines, furniture, books and exhibitions.
Acne Studios collections are defined by Jonny Johansson’s signature juxtaposing design and attention to detail. They emphasize tailoring and use an eclectic mix of materials and custom-developed fabrics. The collections cover men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, footwear, accessories, and denim.
The new Moomin collection will appear as part of Acne Studios’ SS25 ‘Face’ collection, designed to capture a mood of youthful expression, colour and play.

In the Acne Studios x Moomin collection, Tove Jansson’s cherished Moomin characters—such as Moomintroll, Snorkmaiden, and Little My—are reimagined across staple pieces in the ‘Face’ collection, from vibrant jersey T-shirts and zip-up hoodies to Acne Studios’ iconic denim. Thoughtfully integrated, Moomin patches replace Acne’s signature ‘Face’ motif on wool cardigans and beanie hats.
