Genuine Craftsmanship of Quality Candles Meets the Cultural Legacy of Karin & Carl Larsson
About a year ago, the candle manufacturer VIO Ljusfabrik had the opportunity to visit the Carl Larsson Estate in Sweden. This inspiring visit sparked a unique and exciting collaboration, where the artistry of handcrafted candles joined with the rich cultural heritage of Karin and Carl Larsson. The result is a stunning new candle collection, paying homage to Karin Larsson’s contributions to interior design.
“We are really happy with the collaboration with VIO. Seeing Karin’s patterns so beautifully applied to their fine candles feels fantastic. It will be wonderful to light them in the autumn darkness!”, says Chia Jonsson, manager at the Carl Larsson Estate.
Using traditional candle-dipping techniques from 1962, each antique candle is hand-dipped to achieve the perfect shade.
