Little Anna Has a Party

By Inger and Lasse Sandberg

Anna is a little girl who likes to do things by herself. She likes to build things and she prefers to make her own decisions. She knows how to, for she is a clever little girl! Little Anna’s world consists of Little Anna herself, a dog, a cat, mum, dad, and Tall Uncle, one of Anna’s good friends.  Little Anna is having a birthday party for her dog. Mum, dad, Tall Uncle and some other Anna’s little friends who live nearby are all invited. And the dog of course, the guest of honour! Little Anna makes a nice cake. The cake becomes really tall! Dad sets the table and mum is decorating the room. While Anna is picking flowers, the other guests arrive. Tall Uncle even brings a gift for the dog – what could it be?
