Berså Spumante Brut – New Stig Lindberg Sparkling Wine

The Wine and Spirits Collective continues its successful collaboration with the legacy of Swedish designer Stig Lindberg. Now introducing Berså Spumante Brut, a sparkling wine adorned with the timeless Berså pattern.

In 2022, The Wine and Spirit Company launched Berså Terra Alta. The wine was the first to highlight a historic Swedish designer, Stig Lindberg. Initially available only in Systembolaget’s online assortment, the wine quickly gained popularity and was soon introduced to over 200 Systembolaget stores.

Its strong reception paved the way for a new collaboration: Berså Spumante Brut.

A Fresh and Fruity Sparkling Wine

Berså Spumante Brut is a fresh and fruity sparkling wine from Italy. It has notes of sun-ripened apples, pears, white flowers and a slightly elegant breadiness. The wine is perfect as an aperitif or with lighter dishes such as asparagus risotto, halibut carpaccio or chicken salad.

Crafted with Care

The grapes are picked from optimal vineyard locations with mineral-rich soil and good sun exposure where sea breezes and cool winds from the Alps create an ideal place for grape growing. Only the best grapes are selected to ensure a high quality of the wine. The wine is made according to the Charmat method, which means that the wine undergoes a second fermentation in steel tanks where the fine bubbles are formed.

For the design, The Wine and Spirits Collective has chosen to use perhaps the most famous design Stig Lindberg ever created, Berså.
