Leo the Lion Faces His Fears

By Nina Pirhonen

This is the third part of the exhilarating, freshly illustrated Leo the Lion book series for all the little defiant toddlers.

Leo the Leo has an exciting day ahead: he is going to the child health clinic and then to a new nursery for the very first time. However, at night he can’t sleep, and monsters seem to be lurking in the dark. Even though Mom and Dad comfort him, and the bright flashlight and monster repellent chase away the monsters, little Leo’s fear remains. Why does one have to be scared when it makes you feel so miserable?

A heartfelt picture book that soothes and comforts young readers as they experience new emotions and navigate through transitions in life. This wonderfully illustrated picture book was also a finalist in the 2021 Most Beautiful Book of the Year competition in the Children’s category.
