Onni’s Band

Onni and his friend Viljo are inspired by a concert in the local park and form their own band called Neighbours with instruments ranging from xylophones to whisks. Neighbours and friends get together to enjoy the band’s first backyard concert.
 
For almost two decades, the beloved Onni picture books have delighted readers.  Since 2007, the sensitive and curious main character Onni, has adventured in a total of 20 books so far and appeared in various exhibitions. The stories with relatable little  everyday adventures, timeless topics, and significant milestones in a child’s life continue to charm new readers.

Sanna Pelliccioni (b. 1976) is an award-winning Finnish illustrator, children’s book author and graphic designer based in Helsinki. She studied art, illustration and graphic design in Italy and Finland. Pelliccioni is one of Finland’s most prolific children’s authors and best known for her Onni series.
