About Stina Wirsén
Ever since graduation from the Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in 1992, Stina Wirsén has worked as a professional illustrator. She is today one of the most well-known illustrators in Sweden. Wirsén has written and illustrated many children’s books and animations, as well as illustrations for various fashion brands, department stores, newspapers and magazines, restaurants, and commercial advertising campaigns.
Stina Wirsén has been granted many awards such as the Expressen Heffaklump Award for children’s literature, the Elsa Beskow Plaque, the Nordiska Tecknares Award, and Svenska Tecknare’s Kolla! Award, and was nominated for the August Award in 2005.
