July According to Julia
A rom-com about a summer when nothing goes according to plan.
Julia and Petter are newly in love. Everything would be perfect if only the couple's holiday expectations could be met. For Julia, a tormentingly long July is all about mosquitoes, poor mobile coverage and a bad soundtrack – especially if it is spent at her parents' "guest house" in the countryside. So she's looking forward to a holiday in the city. Petter, on the other hand, longs to escape the crowds and exhaust fumes. When he receives an offer to borrow a colleague's house on the island of Gotland, he decides to surprise Julia with a trip to Gotland, the place where they first met. It couldn't get more romantic than that... or could it?
Meanwhile, Petter's ex-wife Caroline and new love Cilla struggle to realize their dream of a farm café on Gotland. But when the new neighbour reveals his grand plans, the whole project risks going up in smoke.
And then there's Jonatan, who hasn't given up on a career as a reality TV star but hasn't gotten any further than the beach bar at Snäck. But the question is what's more important – following your dream or your heart?
Over the summer, everyone's relationships are put to the test, and the holiday is filled with mishaps and a love triangle.
July According to Julia is a charming feel-good book, a standalone sequel to Kristin Emilsson's feel-good hit Christmas According to Julia.

Reviews
"A lovely summery rom-com that makes you happy.(...)If you liked the last book you will definitely like this one. This is a really fun feelgood to read/listen to. Perfect holiday reading!"
"The strength of Kristin Emilsson's books is how easily they flow and how funny they are. The perspective of the person in focus changes, but it is only Julia who narrates in the first person and her chapters are usually hysterically funny. You laugh both with and at her."
"This is a humorous feel-good with a clever message. Perfect as a light-hearted sweet summer read."
"July According to Julia is a delightful romantic comedy with a summer feel, I love the tone, the humour and the witty dialogue. I also love the romance, the warmth, the relationships and the friendships that develop in this seemingly mismatched group. I also like that the characters come to wise realisations, both about themselves and about others. It is simply a smart and well-written feelgood of the highest order.(...)I can't wait to get back to Julia's world - hopefully with lots of wedding complications all around!"
