The first book from The JerryMaya Detective Agency series (LasseMajas Detektivbyrå) was released in 2002. Since then, the brave detectives Jerry and Maya have spellbound an audience of kids and adults alike, in books and on screen.  The book series contains 29 novels which have sold over 5,5 million copies in Sweden. The series has been translated into over 40 langugaes.  Now, for the first time ever, The JerryMaya Detective Agency is available as a comic magazine. Published in Swedish by Egmont with six issues per year, the magazine contains two brand new stories per issue. Follow along as the resourceful Jerry and Maya solve many mysteries together with the chief of police in Valleby, and brace yourself for some of the most exciting cases taken on by the quick-witted duo!    Rights & Brands sells materials for the artwork used in the magazines which can be used to create omnibus releases. Rights to these omnibus editions have been sold to Denmark, Finland, Norway, Germany and Poland.

Martin Widmark (b. 1961) is a Swedish writer and teacher. He is considered one of the most prominent writers of children’s fiction today. In addition to writing the LasseMajas Detektivbyrå, or The JerryMaya Detective Agency, book series, he has also written the series of books about Nelly Rapp, Halvdan Viking, and many more. His works have been translated into more than 35 languages. Widmark’s books are constantly on the best-seller lists, on libraries’ most popular lists, and together with Helena Willis, he has been awarded the children’s own book award 11 times for the LasseMaja titles.Helena Willis (b. 1964) is a Swedish illustrator and author. She has been working as a freelance illustrator since graduating from Beckman’s College of Design in 1991. Helena claims to have the best job in the world: ‘I play all day and every day.’ Together with Martin Widmark, she has been creating the book series LasseMajas Detektivbyrå, The JerryMaya Detective Agency, since 2002.
