IJustWantToBeCool is behind the Swedish children’s book trilogy Skurkarnas Skurk, illustrated by the talented Kalle Landegren.


This is a twisted, fast-paced page-turner for the age of eager readers, where the question of who is truly a hero is pushed to the limit, and where anything can happen.
The first book, Skurkskolan, was released in 2022, followed by the exciting Förrädaren in 2023. In 2024, the third book, Hjältus Tårar, was released. The books have also charmed listeners as audiobooks.

Matfighten Cook Book

“Matfighten” is a cooking format that IJWTBC first developed for their YouTube channel IJustWantToBeCool2. In the episodes, IJWTBC competes against each other to see who is the best at cooking, and they test who makes the best sushi, the best traditional Swedish food, or the best breakfast, among other things. In true IJWTBC fashion, the episodes are both entertaining and humorous – while also inspiring cooking, which has generated millions of views for the format.

In the fall of 2024, a cookbook for “Matfighten” was also released, where the group shares their best recipes from the YouTube series. The cookbook is an extension of the YouTube channel, with the hope of providing the younger generation with inspiration and the means to cook delicious and good food, in a fun way.

Matfighten was the best-selling cookbook on Adlibris in 2024.
