Pettson & Findus playhouse by Polhus
Background
Polhus was established in 2001 and is one of the fastest growing brands in e-commerce of wooden houses in the Nordic region. They sell self-designed cabins, sheds, saunas, playhouses and much more. Using inspiration from Sven Nordqvist’s Pettson & Findus illustrations, Polhus designed a house just like Pettson’s.

The Collaboration
The Pettson & Findus playhouse is delivered in a finished set of building elements that are easily put together with a hammer and screwdriver. The house is made from whitewood for the walls and floor, complete with windows made of plexiglass. Polhus also encourage everyone who buys the Pettson & Findus playhouse to use the packaging material to build other elements, just like the way Pettson does it.
Results
The response that Polhus has received from customers has been great, especially in the Nordic market where the love for classic red cottages and Pettson & Findus is strong.
