Vera & Ville is one of Sweden’s most popular children’s book series, due to its simple, everyday topics with great recognition. Their inclusive characters and environments appeal to many target groups. The book series started in 2019 and releases new titles every year.

Katarina Ekstedt is an author and publishing manager. She has written several popular books for children. Together with Anna Winberg Sääf, Katarina Ekstedt has also written the acclaimed suspense novels “NORD” and “SYD” about the chef Alex, which are in the process of becoming TV series produced by Filmlance.
Lovisa Blomberg illustrated several children’s books before the Vera & Ville series appeared. She also studied at KV Konstskola in Gothenburg and worked for six months as an illustrator at the Museum of Childhood in Edinburgh. Illustrating books for children has been a dream of hers since she was little!

Universal Music Kids has entered a collaboration with Ville & Ville author and creator Katarina Ekstedt. This partnership aims to develop and launch the characters Vera & Ville to a whole new generation of young fans through music, audiobooks, and a YouTube channel.
