R&B titles nominated for the 2023 Adlibris Award in Finland
The nominees for the 2023 Adlibris Award in Finland have been announced and among them are Katri Kirkkopelto, Aino Havukainen and Sami Toivonen and Sofie Sarenbrant.
Katri Kirkkopelto’s Blue and a Topsy Turvy Day (Molli ja väärä jalka) and Aino Havukainen and Sami Toivonen’s Tatu and Patu’s Fantasy Adventure (Tatun ja Patun fantasiaseikkailu) are both shortlisted for Children’s and YA Book of the Year.
The Finnish edition of Sofie Sarenbrant’s title The Soulmate (Själsfränden) has been shortlisted for Crime Novel of the Year. Sarenbrant is also nominated for The Adlibris Prize in Sweden.
Adlibris is the leading book retailer in the Nordics and it established the Adlibris Award in Sweden in 2019. This is the first time that the Adlibris Award will be awarded in Finland in four different categories. The winners are chosen by public vote. The winning titles will be announced on March 25, 2024.
