The first book of a new five-volume softcover series reintroduces the timeless Moomin comic stories by Tove and Lars Jansson in softcover to a new generation of readers.

Moomin Adventures: Book One starts with the well-known story Moomin on the Riviera, which has also been adapted into an animated film. The Moomin family, Snorkmaiden and Little My sail to the Riviera and find themselves on an adventurous holiday.

The Moomin comics debuted internationally in the London Evening News in 1954. After its original appearance in the 50s, the comics were next published in English by Drawn & Quarterly in 2006 as a series of ten volumes compiling all Moomin comics was published. The series has since sold more than 500,000 volumes.
