Ozzy and Chirp set off on a wild and wacky time-travel adventure.

Ozzy has forgotten where he hid his cone yesterday. He decides to build a time machine to travel back to yesterday with Chirp to look for his cone. As usual, the duo end up in a unexpected situation as they time-travel trillions of years into the past. The search for the cone becomes surprisingly difficult when Ozzy and Chirp don’t realise they are in prehistoric times, where all the creatures are also a trillion times more dangerous.

This is a humour-packed series with cheerful characters that make one chuckle and want to read on. The colourful pages are filled with details and offer a joy of discovery for young comic enthusiasts.

About the author

Johanna Witick (b. 1982) is an artist, author and graphic designer from Helsinki. Witick has worked as a graphic designer since 2002 and become a prolific artist with her own unique style. Her love of artistic creation comes from her childhood when drawing and illustrating became an important hobby, and now, her work also includes paintings and sculptures, all of which Witick gives an original touch. Witick’s illustration work has also been commissioned by commercial clients and for voluntary purposes.The author has created her own children’s graphic novel series starring the witty and resilient character, Ozzy the Squirrel. Witick self-published her first books before they were picked up by Otava Publishing to develop them into graphic novels. The inspiration for Ozzy comes from Johanna’s childhood when she was already active in drawing. Johanna spent her childhood on an island, where she would see plenty of squirrels living and moving around nearby. Stories from Squirrelvalley: Ozzy and Chirp is Witick’s newest title in which the readers will be introduced to the beginning of the quirky Ozzy the Squirrel’s story.
