IDEA has released a Moomin 80 anniversary edition of the book “Mischievous Nature”
The Mischievous Nature book featuring all Moomin artwork from IDEA, a London-based cult bookshop and publisher, is now available in a special Moomin 80 edition.
Founded in 2009, the family-run store IDEA specializes in used books and has also expanded into publishing, reinventing the bookselling experience. They offer hard-to-find titles primarily focused on photography, arts, and design, making them accessible to a global audience.
In 2022, IDEA released a very special project that includes the complete Tove Jansson illustrations from all the Moomin novels, as well as apparel with Moomin illustrations. Now they have created a special Moomin 80 anniversary edition.
Moomin 80-edition and New Apparel Now Available
The 288-page, no-words book Mischievous Nature has been updated with a new look and feel to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Moomins. Accompanying the book is an update to the wardrobe section, with new hoodies, caps, and sweaters added and ready to be worn.
This limited-edition book, restricted to only 1,000 copies, is a lay-flat softcover with a green linen-textured cardboard cover, packaged inside a clothbound hardboard slipcase. The book contains no text, focusing exclusively on Tove Jansson’s visual art.
