Floral Patterns and Dreamy Illustrations in Cath Kidston’s New Moomin Collection

Cath Kidston’s new autumn/winter 2025 Moomin range features floral patterns and dreamy illustrations. The colourful collection consists of a wide selection of fashion, accessories and homeware.

The playful British lifestyle brand Cath Kidston, founded to “inspire the everyday optimist”, is launching its second Moomin collection.

Featuring painterly florals, not-so-delicate ditsies and rich dreamscapes of fantastical adventures, the collection artfully combines Tove Jansson’s characters with both Cath Kidston’s renowned print archives and specially crafted new works of art, uniting the two vibrant worlds.

From dresses and dungarees to bags and homeware

The product range includes fashion for both adults and children – from frill-trimmed dresses to dungarees for little ones and sleepwear for all the family – as well as a broad selection of backpacks, tote bags, purses and accessories.

Homeware includes cushions, lampshades, vases, storage baskets and a welcome mat featuring Snufkin’s quote, ‘You must go on a long journey before you can really find out how wonderful home is,’ from Comet in Moominland.

The collection features several favourite characters from the Moomin stories – Moomintroll, Moominmamma, Snorkmaiden, Little My, Snufkin and Sniff all make an appearance – and the range is strongly connected with the natural world, featuring flowers, outdoor adventures and the fantastical landscapes of Moominvalley.
