Oddlygood Adds a Moominous Touch to Its Plant-Based Soygurts

Plant-based goodies with a limited edition Moomin design are now available in stores in Finland, Iceland and Sweden! Oddlygood’s soygurts now feature some familiar characters on its colorful packaging.

Oddlygood, a Finnish company known for its delicious plant-based foods and drinks, is now adding a Moominous touch to its yummy soygurts.

“We wanted to join forces because, in addition to their Finnish roots, Oddlygood® and the Moomin stories share the same values: playfulness brings joy to life, diversity is a source of richness, and everyone is welcome just as they are. In Moominvalley, everyone can be themselves, and the same goes for Oddlygood® products, which are suitable for all kinds of people: young and old, omnivores, curious eaters, and vegans,” Tyrsky Ylppö, Head of Marketing at Oddlygood, tells moomin.com.

The playful packaging with beloved moomin characters

The soygurt cartons show characters from Tove Jansson’s stories in surprising combinations, reminding us that diversity is strength. The strawberry gurt is decorated with Moominmamma and Hattifatteners – who seem to be stealing Moominmamma’s jam!

Moominpappa is the one who tends to end up on adventures with the mysterious white creatures, but this time he’s taking a nap in the hammock with Stinky and Little My.

With their colourful, playful, and now also Moominous packaging, Oddlygood’s gurts will put a smile on anyone’s face – and maybe make one daydream about travelling to Moominvalley. Who wouldn’t want to join Snufkin and Snorkmaiden on a nice little walk on a sunny day?

With its delicious products, Oddlygood wants to bring joy and encourage everyone to live their own life – regardless of age, background, diet, or worldview.

By creating products that everyone, not just vegans, loves, Oddlygood is making plant-based an option for all. The soygurts are available in five tasty flavours: peach & raspberry, lemon, strawberry, vanilla, and natural.

Launch events

To celebrate the launch, Oddlygood hosted influencer events in Finland and Sweden. In Sweden, they also carried out a guerrilla marketing campaign, distributing 100 of its Moomin products on Drottninggatan in central Stockholm.

For the Swedish influencer event, they invited 23 influencers to Junibacken in Stockholm. They hosted a dinner overlooking the water with special dishes prepared by a chef, using Oddlygood products and inspired by different Moomin characters.
