Moomin Rises to #41 on the Top Global Licensors List

The Moomin brand continues to strengthen its position in the global licensing industry. In the latest Top Global Licensors Report, which ranks 150 leading licensed brands worldwide, Moomin has climbed from 42nd to 41st place.

License Global, publisher of the annual report, confirmed that Moomin Characters, owner of the Moomin brand and the Tove Jansson estate, has advanced one spot from last year’s ranking.

License Global’s Top Global Licensors 2025 report highlights a record-breaking $307.9 billion in retail sales of licensed consumer products, reported by some of the world’s largest brand owners. The list includes companies such as The Walt Disney Company, NBCUniversal, Hasbro, Warner Bros. Discovery, The Pokémon Company International, Mattel, Sanrio, and many more.

2025 also marks a milestone as the whitepaper now surpasses 300 billion in total submissions, with global retail sales of licensed consumer products reported by global brand owners increasing by $26.7 billion (10%) over the previous year.
