The Underwear Spies

By Arndís Þórarinsdóttir

In Boxerville, life still revolves around underpants. In the old factory, every day is full of fun under Granny Lena’s careful supervision. Now that she’s on vacation, however, something mysterious is going on.

A woman who claims to be a custodian locks Gutti and Ólina out of the building, even though they are practically the founders of the community centre which the old factory has become. But the duo won’t just leave the center behind.

After they’ve finally broken their way in, it becomes evident that various things have gone missing, including Snaefridur the rabbit, and the framed lace underpants that were sewn for a long-dead king. This clearly demands an investigation!

The Underwear Spies is the stand alone follow up to The Underwear Factory. Combining a hilarious storyline with a detective mystery, it will make the whole family laugh out loud!

The Underwear Spies was nominated for the Icelandic Literature Prize 2019.
