I Feel Super!

By Ninka Reittu

In the third book of the Super series by Ninka Reittu, the familiar father and son characters in superhero capes talk through emotions, what makes them happy, and how to make others happy, too.   We all wake up in a bad mood sometimes, but little by little we can turn our mood around and think positive thoughts. Learning to ride a bike is hard, especially once you have fallen almost a hundred times and think that you will never learn. But then you manage to pedal for many meters. Then you feel super! Happiness shines through as a smile, and just like yawns – smiles are infectious!

Reviews

"I think Ninka Reitu's colourful illustration is wonderful. Distinct and detailed images. The facial expressions and body language of the characters are fun to observe while reading the book. Emotions are expressed in both the text and illustration. Nothing is explained too much, but just enough. There is room left for the imagination..."
