A new Teemu Järvi collection by Joseph Abboud Japan
Joseph Abboud, a renowned US menswear brand established in the 1980s, is now introducing a collaboration with Finnish artist Teemu Järvi. This collection of outdoor men’s and women’s wear is a celebration of nature, combining style, artistry and sustainability.
Teemu Järvi is a Finnish artist known for his illustrations inspired by flora, fauna, and the captivating landscapes of Northern Europe and the art of forest bathing in Japan. In addition to creating artwork, Järvi is active in a wide range of fields including book illustration and product design. His beautiful works, which respect nature and use traditional and sustainable tools and materials such as reed pens and ink, have received high praise and received numerous awards.
This new collection from Joseph Abboud Japan, designed for both men and women, features an array of clothing and accessories crafted from sustainable materials, including a new innovative wood fiber based fabric called ‘BIOGRACE’.
“It’s great to get to work long-term with a high-quality and responsible clothing brand. I’m especially happy that the collection makes use of BIOGRACE, a new wood fiber-based fabric that is more sustainable compared to cotton”, Teemu Järvi says.
This unique jacket features Teemu Järvi’s artwork printed on the interior lining. Crafted from waxed nylon cotton material with a special coating, it offers a luxurious and textured feel. The jacket is accented with corduroy on the collar and flap pockets.
