Press Release February 12, 2024
Star Stable Entertainment AB has appointed Rights & Brands to represent Star Stable as a master agent worldwide
With hundreds of thousands of books sold in eleven languages, the Star Stable books have galloped into the hearts of young readers and horse lovers around the globe. The books are based on Star Stable Online, the fastest-growing online horse game in the world with 26 million registered users. Star Stable Entertainment AB has appointed Rights & Brands as the master agent worldwide for licensing and publishing rights.
The bestselling Star Stable: Soul Riders trilogy by author Helena Dahlgren tells the story of Lisa, a teenage girl coming to terms with the tragic loss of her mother in a riding accident. New in Jorvik, Lisa is befriended by a couple of girls who go to the local stables filled with wondrous horses. Lisa has sworn never to go near a horse again, but that was before she met Starshine, a mysterious blue-maned steed who comes to her in dreams. Together with her friends and their horses, they form the Soul Riders, an ancient and mystical band of horsewomen. The first book in the series, Jorvik Calling, won the Kids Book Choice Award in the Best Fantasy World Builder category.
Other titles in the magical Star Stable universe include several short story collections, the graphic novel Dark Song by Katie Cook and Elli Puukangas, and Moorland Stables, a modern pony club series for younger readers written by equestrian fiction author Catherine Hapka.
Available in 180 countries and 14 languages, Star Stable Online has 26 million registered users and over half a million active players each month. Its vast online community has 1.1 million followers, with great engagement levels on YouTube and various social media channels. The Star Stable universe includes mobile games, companion apps, books, music and the animated series Mistfall.
Rights & Brands will represent Star Stable for publishing and licensing rights worldwide.
