Rights & Brands to Represent Multidisciplinary Artist Sam Wilde
[Stockholm, 5 February 2025] Renowned Scandinavian licensing agency Rights & Brands proudly announces its partnership with British artist Sam Wilde, acting as global master licensing agency.
Sam Wilde is a multidisciplinary British artist who crafts unapologetically imaginative fine art patterns packed with personality and immersive detail. Known as a master of colour and illustration, Sam’s award-winning artworks subvert audiences’ expectations by flipping pattern design on its head with his signature world-building approach to the genre. A feast for the eyes, his hand-drawn worlds redefine the medium for a new generation and are a modern-day marvel.
Rather unusually, Sam Wilde made the switch to being an artist in his mid-twenties. Wilde previously worked on a trading desk in London’s financial sector. With no prior art & design qualifications or formal training, Sam dedicated his time outside office hours to teaching himself how to draw and paint.
Wilde’s artistic pursuit gained momentum after a pivotal moment at his desk. An internet search led him to the Royal College of Art, where he audaciously submitted a portfolio. Sam was accepted, trading his corporate suit on Friday for a whole new life the following Monday— and he hasn’t looked back since.
With an impressive roster of collaborations—including Adobe, Apple, Nvidia, Liberty, and the legendary design house Svenskt Tenn—Sam’s work has already earned international acclaim. His exhibitions have traveled across Asia and Europe, further solidifying his reputation as an artist of global appeal.
