Kitchen witch Rosemary has taken her friends Madeleine, Michelin, Slice and Bebe to the magic world of Humpia on a cinnamon roll boat along the Raspberry Lemonade River. Madeleine finds a very sweet caterpillar floating on a leaf, but when no one is looking, it starts eating their boat from the inside out. Rosemary is furious as she discovers that Madeleine took a Glut Grub on board. Soon the boat sinks, but Rosemary rescues them on her big Pepper Mill.

A headless adventure awaits the group as they come upon football-playing unicorns, talking clouds, air pirates and many other mysterious creatures. 
Will Rosemary manage to outsmart the wicked Ant Queen and other challengers they encounter on the journey with her big Pepper Mill?

Madeleine, Michelin, Slice and Bebe are the four members of the Cooking Club, who are taken to headless adventures with a kitchen witch Rosemary and her magical pepper mill. It does not matter where these characters come from, but their noses are always seeking out the next fantastical journey. With light and fun text and illustrations to carry the story forward, Rosemary encourages reluctant readers as much as comic fans to pick up the book.

About the author

Miina Supinen (b. 1976) is an author, journalist and teaches creative writing. She is known for her whimsical fiction for children and adults. Her adult fiction has received various literary prize nominations in Finland.Anni Nykänen (b. 1983) is a comic artist, illustrator and graphic designer. She has been nominated for the Comic Finlandia prize three times.Rosemary series is their playful collaboration, which started as part of an early reader series Cookery Club in 2018. The characters resurfaced in independent new adventures and in a new format in longer extent as Rosemary series in 2022.
