Healthy snack company Pändy, known for its sugar-free offerings at major grocery chains in Sweden and popular online pharmacies, wanted to extend its reach to new target groups. By partnering with the hugely popular children’s brand Maxi & Helium, Pändy sought to promote healthier snacking habits to families with children.

The candy was launched in May 2024.

The Collaboration

The collaboration resulted in two new candy options: Maxi & Helium Wild Berries and Maxi & Helium Tutti Frutti. These candy options offer the same great taste as regular candy but significantly less sugar—only 1 gram of sugar per bag.

The launch was strengthened with PR send-outs to influencers around Sweden. Influencer collaborations included Michael Forni, HannaHappy, Miss Molly and PappaPappaDotter.

Results

Within weeks after launching, all major grocery store chains in Sweden stocked the Maxi & Helium candy bags by Pändy. The popularity also resulted in Pändy now distributing the product to new markets.
