PURENorway water – now with the Smurfs!
The Norweigan water PURENorway is now launching four new flavors in collaboration with some of the most famous characters in the world: The Smurfs!
The Smurfs water from PURENorway comes in four flavors: Apple & Pear, Pineapple & Watermelon, Strawberry & Raspberry – and the classic still water. No sugar is added to the flavored water, and it contains zero calories. All cans are made from recycled material and 1% of the turnover is donated to the Pure Norway foundation, which helps clean plastic waste from the sea.

The founders of PURENorway had an idea to produce a flavored energy drink made with the clean waters of Norway and sodium-, sugar- and calorie-free. All PURENorway cans are made of aluminum which is a raw material and 100% recyclable, which means it can be used over and over without weakening its character.
Working with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals
PURENorway donates 1% of their income toward cleaning the garbage and waste from rivers and oceans in the countries they sell their water. In Mumbai, India, they hired residents to pick up garbage. In the first quarter this year, more than 10,000 tons of plastic was collected from rivers, equivalent to more than 2 million PT bottles. Like many Norwegian companies, PURENorway is striving to have their work align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
This also applies to the vision and works of The Smurfs. The Smurfs not only have a 95% brand awareness worldwide, but they also have an ongoing partnership with the United Nations and are proud ambassadors for the Sustainable development goals. One example is that The Smurfs and the UN have teamed up with the European Union to inspire everyone (young and old!) to take action to clean beaches or riverbanks across the world through the campaign #EUBeachCleanup.
This makes the collaboration of The Smurfs PURENorway water a natural fit, working towards the same goals and hopes for a more sustainable world.
