Sofie Sarenbrant shortlisted twice for 2025 BookBeat Award
We are delighted to share that author Sofie Sarenbrant has secured two nominations in the forthcoming 2025 BookBeat Award.
Sofie Sarenbrant is shortlisted for “Swedish Crime Author of the Year”, and her latest Emma Sköld title, The Follower (Följeslagaren, Bookmark Förlag 2025), is shortlisted in the category “Swedish Crime Novel of the Year”.
The award bestowed by BookBeat, one of Europe’s leading streaming services for audiobooks and e-books and the Crimetime Festival is entirely data-driven and based on BookBeat’s statistics. The winners will be revealed on September 27th, 2025, at the popular Crimetime book festival held during the Gothenburg Bookfair.
Sofie Sarenbrant released her newest book in the Emma Sköld series The Follower (Följeslagaren), in May 2025. The twelfth standalone book in the acclaimed and best-selling series is an eerie and gripping story that portrays current social themes and sensitive topics.
