The Creator nominated as the Best Swedish Crime Novel of the Year
Award season continues with more joyous news, this time for author duo Arne Dahl and Jonas Moström whose book The Creator has been nominated as the Best Swedish Crime Novel of the Year by the Swedish Crime Writer’s Academy.
The Best Swedish Crime Novel Award is an annual literary prize awarded since 1982 by the Swedish Crime Writers’ Academy. The Swedish organization which was founded in 1971 to promote the writing of detective fiction and crime fiction presents annual prizes for the best Swedish crime novel and best crime novel in translation, among other special prizes.
The Creator is the first part of the thrilling and gripping series True Fiction created by author duo Arne Dahl and Jonas Moström. A breathtaking metafictional thriller where celebrated crime writer Tom Borg is suddenly suspected of the murder he is writing about. Tom Borg is a renowned crime novelist whose life takes a terrifying turn when he becomes an unwilling witness to a murder ripped straight from the pages of his latest manuscript. The original Swedish edition was published by Bookmark Förlag in April 2024. Rights have been sold to five territories to date. The Danish edition was published at the beginning of November by Lindhardt og Ringhof.
