In this new board game by Alga, players can use the magical powers of Camilla Läckberg’s Super-Charlie to embark on an exciting adventure.
The first book about Super-Charlie was published in 2011, when Camilla Läckberg ventured into children’s literature with the release of Super-Charlie, the first book in a successful series about a baby with superpowers.
Since its debut, the series has grown into a major success, with 12 books published so far, over 1.3 million copies sold, and translations into 17 languages. The book’s visual world is shaped by illustrators Millis Sarri and Therese Vildefall, whose art has helped make Super-Charlie instantly recognizable to young readers.
Alga is now releasing a brand-new board game inspired by the popular children’s book series, letting families step into Super-Charlie’s world of mystery, kindness, and superpowers.
A mystery game powered by Super-Charlie
Alga’s new board game captures the spirit of the books by mixing adventure with a playful puzzle challenge. The concept is simple and exciting: puzzle pieces are hidden and waiting to be discovered. Players reach through a hole to grab a piece—then race to see whether it fits their own mystery puzzle. Speed matters here: the first player to fully solve their puzzle wins the game.
But it’s not just about grabbing pieces quickly. The game adds a lively board-game twist. Alongside four puzzles, players get a special box where puzzle pieces are placed. Cleverly, that box doubles as the game board.
After rolling the dice, everyone moves Super-Charlie around the board, and each landing spot triggers a new possibility: you might collect one puzzle piece, or even two pieces at once if you activate Super-Charlie’s X-ray vision. Or you can end up on a heart – because Super-Charlie is also super kind.

With this release, Alga brings Super-Charlie to kids in a fresh format: part puzzle hunt, part race, part story-driven adventure. The game is now available at select retailers in Sweden.
