Janne Kukkonen

Janne Kukkonen (b. 1983) is an animation director who has also made music videos and short films.

Lily the Thief, which came out in 2016, is his first graphic novel, and Kukkonen was awarded the 2017 Finlandia Prize in comics for his work. This began an exciting trilogy, and the writer and illustrator was nominated again in 2020 for the second novel.
