Ellen Ekman

Ellen Ekman (1986) is an illustrator and cartoonist, who has created several picture books with other authors and is known for the series Little Berlin. Her first own picture book, Idde och hajen, was published in 2019. 

Celebrated Ekman has received numerous awards and prizes including the Albert Engström’s Youth Prize, the Stora Pondus Prize, the Swedish Series Academy’s Adamson Statuette and the Rosenström Culture Prize.
Ellen Ekman’s most recent work is a collaboration with Susanne Trydal on the books Look Out, Stella! and Do You Dare, Stella? for which Ekman has illustrated the pictures that colourfully and charmingly depict everyday scenes.
