TROLLHEIM –The Queen of Spiders

By Ida Skjelbakken Arne Lindmo

An intense police investigation is underway in Trollheim.

Two children have disappeared without a trace, and rumours circulate about a vampire in the village. In an attempt to sort things out, Adam, Tara, and Tobias journey to Helheim to find the missing children. There, a new monster has emerged: Arakhne, the Queen of Spiders! A ruthless creature who desires conquest and dominion, yet she is also lonely, constantly searching for a girl who, with a little help, can become her perfect eight-legged daughter!

The Queen of Spiders is the fifth book in a new outstandingly illustrated, page-turning and award-winning middle-grade series from Norway, Trollheim. It follows three children, Adam, Tara and Tobias, as they fight against creatures from the Norwegian myths and save the world from an ancient darkness.

The Trollheim series has been chosen to the selection list of NORLA – the Norwegian Literature Abroad organization that chooses certain books to promote and present at literature events both domestic and abroad, to increase the visibility of Norwegian literature internationally.
