Stefan Lindberg

Stefan Lindberg (b. 1971) is an author, playwright, and translator. He made his literary debut in 1999 with the highly acclaimed short story collection A Thousand Needles. Since then, he has written six novels.

In 2014, Stefan Lindberg was awarded the prestigious Ludvig Nordström Literary Prize. The prize is given annually to a novelist or journalist. Lindberg’s novels You Know That You are Valuable and The Nights at Mon Chéri have both been nominated for Tidningen VI’s Literature Prize, and the latter was also nominated for the Swedish Radio Novel Prize.

Stefan Lindberg’s most recent novel Splendor was nominated for the August Prize 2020 and the Swedish Radio Novel Prize 2021.
